I’m outside of the U.S. and Canada, is that a problem?

No, your location does not matter. All of the work we send is 100% remote. If there is a time zone or citizenship preference on the posting we'll let you know in the listing.

How do you qualify the leads that you send?

The work must be fully remote. If there are timezone or citizenship restrictions we'll let you know in the listing. There must be direct communication with the client. We're not a middle man. Lastly, we only send you the types of work and technologies that you chose. When it's available we'll put in the budget and try our best to only send leads worth at least 1k+ USD.

How many jobs / projects will you send in each email?

1 email = 1 lead. We send one job per email so that you're focused on sending the best proposal for that position.

How many lead emails do I get per month?

We never send a lead just to send it. The exact number you get every month depends on 3 factors:

  1. The languages and frameworks you selected.
  2. The work types you selected.
  3. The work that gets posted out there on various sources.

Based on our analytics, this comes out to approximately 30 ~ 50 leads per month. The fact is you don’t need all that many leads to make a lot of money; you just need the right leads.

How do I apply to a lead sent by RemoteLeads?

Each lead comes with a link to apply. Sometimes this is an email address you send an email to, a website you go to and apply to, someone on a Slack group to send a DM to, or something else.

Every lead that you get comes with the most optimal application steps. If you follow them, your chances of reaching out to the client are already above most developers who don't have a process for reaching out.

What kind of results can I expect with RemoteLeads?

If you're consistently applying, our analytics tell us that developers you should land a position between 30 ~ 60 days. If you're having trouble, even with the application steps, then there's a problem. Reach out to support@remoteleads.io and we'll help.

Do you send out work from UpWork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and other freelancer marketplaces?

Absolutely not. Those platforms are bidding wars for under priced developers and the companies posting there are generally looking for dirt cheap hourly rates. We strive to only send the highest quality of freelance leads for our subscribers. These marketplaces are part of the reason we started RemoteLeads. We wanted a better alternative for freelance developers where their skills aren't undervalued.

I signed up. Why am I not receiving emails?

Sometimes our emails can end up in the spam folder, or in Gmail’s “Promotions” tab if you use Gmail.

Here are some instructions for many common email clients to keep our emails out of the spam folder.

How do I update my lead preferences?

Email support@remoteleads.io with a list of your new languages and frameworks, and your work types. We'll update your account and you'll start receiving the new leads within 24 hours.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

Yes, your subscription automatically renews based on whichever plan you signed up for. As long as you stay a subscriber your price will never change, even if we decide to raise the prices. You’ll also have access to new features we release in the future.

Is my credit card info secure?

Yes. This site is encrypted using a 256-bit secure connection and all payments are processed through Stripe, the industry-leader in credit card security used by Facebook, BestBuy, NPR, and over 100,000+ other online businesses.

Can I get a receipt for my payment?
